The course introduces you to the citation ethics and the principles of proper referencing. You will discover what is meant by terms such as plagiarism, citation style, in-text citation, paraphrasing, citation method and many more. You will learn in detail about the citation style of the Mendel University in Brno, also called the Library Recommends. You will find out how to create a correct bibliographic citation depending on the type of document. You will also be introduced to reference managers, which facilitate the creation and management of bibliographic citations.
