The course makes students acquainted with the fundamentals of regional economics, spatial arrangement of economics, its components and their impact on the regional growth. Students will gain a knowledge about the localization models of companies as well as models of spatial distribution of other economic subjects. The course also deals with the regional aspects of production factors markets, urban economics and overall theoretical background of regional development. Theoretical knowledge are supported by the application tasks and practical information by the strategic and financial management of public administration.
Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s regionálními aspekty ekonomie a to jak na teoretické úrovni, tak v rámci jejích aplikačních disciplín. Studenti jsou v průběhu kurzu seznámeni s podstatou modelů rozhodování ekonomických subjektů o lokalizaci, s podstatou modelů popisujících prostorové rozmístění ekonomických subjektů, s regionálními specifiky trhů výrobních faktorů, s modely teorie měst a v neposlední řadě s teoretickými přístupy k regionálnímu rozvoji. Teoretické znalosti jsou podpořeny aplikačními úlohami a poznatky z oblasti strategického a finančního managementu na úrovni orgánů uzemní veřejné správy.
